Chris Lie
Chris pursued his MFA in Sequential Art at Savannah College of Art and
Design. After graduated as the Excelsus Laureate in 2005, Chris has
been working on hundreds of comicbooks, illustrations and concept art
for toys and video games. His original concept, Drafted, is optioned
to be adapted into a live action movie. Nowdays, Chris is busy
managing Caravan Studio and teaching drawing classes at Bina Nusantara
International University.

Ali Akbar
An award winning art director turned photographer, Ali Akbar has
quickly gained respect amongst his peers in the Indonesia arena as
well as internationally. Ali Akbar Studio was set up 2 years ago to
contain his abundance creative talent, recently his photography work
received an Honorable Mention from American Photo.
Ali Akbar has won a range of local to international awards, during his
6 years stint in the advertising industry. He worked with
multinational advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett Jakarta, Leo
Burnett Kuala Lumpur & Ogilvy Jakarta handling major local and
multinational accounts.
His vision, which at once are minimalist, moody colour, quirky & very
graphic, has took him to participate in a couple exhibitions such as
Right Wing Violence poster exhibition, Jakarta Biennale 2009 and D&AD
sector showcase, London.

Aoura Lovenson Chandra
Graduated at 2005 from University Technology, of Sydney (UTS) as
Bachelor of Communication (Media Arts and Production), specialized on
Producing. Right after back to Indonesia, he produced a feature film
entitled “Gue Kapok Jatuh Cinta” which was released on Feb 2006. Soon
after that, with a few partners, he built Simple Media, a creative
media company. One of Simple’s publications that has been introduced
is Provoke!. Although Provoke! once published around 2002, their team
is the one who responsible on re-brand it and re-create the whole new
concept. Provoke! become the first free high-school publication that
promotes creativity, diversity, non conventional self-thought
provoking ideas. It has been distributed directly around 120
highschools in Jabodetabek and over 50 distro in Jakarta & Bandung.
Provoke! Bandung will be published starting July 2009.
